About Greg Fortier

Greg Fortier I have been photographing the world around me for as long as I can remember but I have only been doing it professionally for 20 years. From my first 126mm camera through a number of point and shoots that my parents bought me when I was young because they thought it was just a passing phase, I have always tried to capture the world as I see it. Like a lot of artists, I see the scenery around me in terms of light and shadow, dark and bright, saturated color or flat. My real job is working for a portrait studio but I still pick up my own camera on the weekends and go out and shoot any chance I get. As you can see from my work, I love the reflections and perspective shots that draw you into the photos. Those photos that make you think you could just crawl inside them when they are on the wall and follow that path into the picture itself.

My work is mostly from New England, from the White Mountains to the coast, from the country to the city. With forays into Disney and DC not to mention any airshow I can get to.

Hopefully you like what you see and thanks for browsing, thank you even more for buying. Regardless, I hope you let me know which pieces you like as you travel my world and my work.

Please feel free to like my work and share links to it on your Twitter or Facebook account. In this Social Media and Digital world today there are so many artists out there and we rely on word of mouth to get our works noticed. So, if an image of mine strikes something in you, please take two seconds to click that little "f", tweeting bird, thumbs up or even just leave me a comment. I always love to hear what people think.
